Clean Sheets

Sometimes we have a bad night. Sometimes we have a bad day. When our whole family has a bad night, lack of sleep and poor spirits can keep everyone down. In order to keep everyone happy, turn a new leaf and take charge of your new day. I love to-do lists and big breakfasts. I like putting on music and hopping in the shower. But most of all, I like to change my bedsheets when I have had a terrible, horrible night.

- Lucy Maud Montgomery

If you were sick or your baby was sick, change those sheets.
If your baby kept you awake all night (or hogged all of the blankets), change those sheets.
If some baby peed in your bed, change those sheets.
If you are a few weeks postpartum and you have just sweat through your PJs and sheets, maybe change those sheets.
If you can’t remember the last time you changed your sheets, change your sheets.

I hope this helps you get into your day. Not only have you accomplished something, but you have a wonderful place to sleep tonight and a brighter outlook on your day.
