Hiring a doula is a highly subjective process. It is important that she be knowledgeable and have experience, but most of all that you feel comfort and trust. My aim is to create a connection with your family so that I may be a positive support in a time of healing and growth.
Welcome to motherhood.
One of my friends, and past clients, refers to me as their baby's 'first friend.' It warms my heart every time I hear it because I am so proud to have been that person for that family. I continue to strive for that special connection with all of my clients.
After working many years as a birth doula, I felt my expertise was best being served in the postpartum period and as an educator to mothers. My goal is to equip mothers and their families with relevant skills, knowledge and the confidence to listen to one's own parenting intuition. A psychology degree and working with infants have allowed me support families and their children. The doula and childbirth education trainings give me the knowledge to accompany you on your perinatal journey. I enjoy bearing witness to the strength of a mother, the love of her family, and the beauty of a baby's milestones.
As a mother myself, I welcome you to the wonderful village of Montreal mothers & families.
